Description
What a wine! And what better way to drink it than from a magnum?
At its absolute peak, this impressive and classy wine from Viñas del Jaro in Ribera del Duero is one of our personal favourites and should not be missed.
Representing exceptional value for money, and yielding from selected grapes from the best vineyards in the region of Pesquera del Duero, Viñas del Jaro’s neighbours are some of the most influential producers in Spain.
Intense cherry red colour with ripe black fruit of the nose and underlying spice.
The palate is rich and warm, with flavours of red and black fruits underpinned with a classy acidity and fine, sweet tannins. Further notes of vanilla, liquorice and chocolate come through thanks to its time spent time in both new and old, large, old French barriques.
This wine is a joy and over delivers. Open in advance if you can.
