Delivery & Shipping

Next working day delivery can be selected at check out for £7.95. Our cut-off for next working day delivery is midday.

For £6.95 we also offer a 2-3 working day delivery service. This is free for orders over £100.

We also offer the option of a SATURDAY DELIVERY if you have checked-out before midday the previous day.

If you spend over £100 ~

  • you are entitled to free 2 – 3 working day delivery
  • alternatively, chose next working day delivery for £7.95

If you spend less than £100 ~

  • next working day delivery is £7.95
  • or, 2 – 3 working day delivery is £6.95

We are pleased to be able to offer our customers the option of a SATURDAY DELIVERY for £15.00. This can be selected at checkout and need to be placed before midday the previous day.

Delivery to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and Islands – £15.00 and may take up to 5 working days (but generally 2- 3)

Scottish Island Post Codes with £15 delivery charge and 2-5 day delivery – HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3

Please provide a UK mobile number for the courier wherever possible.

We use Parcelforce to deliver your Handpicked Wine Boxes. Once we have packed your order you will be contacted via SMS message and/or email by Parcelforce. They will confirm when you can expect your delivery. You are then able to track and amend some of the details of your delivery via the Parcelforce website.

In the unlikely event that your Handpicked Wine Box is damaged please contact us at [email protected].

We use premium packaging to ensure that your Handpicked Wine Box gets to you in perfect condition. The packaging has been extensively “drop tested” and is able to withstand any bumps or bangs without damaging the wine, what’s more it’s made from recycled cardboard and is 100% biodegradable. When you’re finished with the packaging then it can be recycled but for the creative minded can be put to other uses. If you decide to find a novel use for our packaging please send us a photo.

Yes, we offer a Saturday wine delivery option which can be selected at check out for £15.00. Your order needs to be placed before midday the previous day to meet the demands of the courier.

Yes, delivery to the Isle of Man is currently £15.95 and calculated at check out. This usually takes between 2 – 4 working days.

Yes, delivery to the Isles of Scilly is currently £15.95 and calculated at check out. Delivery usually takes around 2 – 4 working days.

Yes, delivery to Northern Ireland is currently £15.95 and calculated at check out. Deliveries usually take between 2 – 4 working days.

Sadly, we are unable to deliver wines to The Channel Islands.

Yes, we deliver to the Highlands & Islands. Delivery is charged at £15.00 for these postcodes.

Yes, we are regularly out delivering and are pleased to offer a free local delivery service within the local North Northants area – please contact us for further information and lead times.
This is generally for NN14 and PE8 postcodes.

Wine is an agricultural product and at the mercy of Mother Nature. In the last 2 years alone, we have seen entire harvests wiped out or damaged by wild fires, frosts, hail storms, flash flooding and drought.

The 2021 Chablis harvest for example, suffered terribly with a combination of early bud burst followed by black frost, with some vignerons losing 80% of their crop.

Add to that, a shortage of labour, dried goods, cardboard for packaging and glass bottles, there has never been a more challenging time to buy wine.

We work really hard to manage our stocks and liaise regularly with suppliers but volumes can be unpredictable and sometimes a wine can become unavailable to us with little, or no warning.

We update and check our stock systems every day, but in the unlikely event that a wine in a gift set or in a mixed case is unavailable, we will substitute it with a like for like wine. We have plenty of options!

For example, if you ordered one of our Malbec cases and one of the wines was unavailable, we would substitute it with another Malbec at the same price point.

If you are ordering specific products and they are out of stock, we will contact you to discuss alternatives.

We offer virtual gift vouchers and physical gift cards.

The virtual gift vouchers are sent immediately.

We send A LOT of gifts.

At check out you will have the option to not only add a handwritten gift card (see below), but also to have your gift sent directly to the recipient by adding a different address to the billing address.

Please rest assured that we will not include receipts or any reference to pricing in your gift.

With enough notice, and for larger orders, we can offer a wider selection of gift packaging.

Yes, we are pleased to offer a gift-wrapping service where the wines are wrapped by a member of the team in tissue paper and sealed with a Handpicked Wine Box sticker.
This option can be added at check-out.

Yes, in addition to our Annual Christmas wine tasting, we work with local communities and groups to offer wine tastings throughout the year.
Not only are these events great fun but they are also a good way to raise money for local charities.
