The “Care” part of the winery’s name harks back in part to the ancient Roman name for this area, signifying its deep roots and historical significance in the world of wine – but it also reflects the meticulous care and passion they put into their work. Their vineyards span over 150 hectares, predominantly featuring indigenous Spanish varietals like Garnacha and Carinena, which thrive in the region’s unique climate and soils. The grapes are harvested at night, to ensure they are picked at peak freshness.
One of the standout features of every Bodegas Care bottle is the striking images they use. Each one is an original artwork by the artist Enrique Torrijos, and they represent many different interpretations of the human face.
