Let us introduce you to Greywacke: a creative, green and all-round delightful wine producer from Marlborough, New Zealand. Founded by Kevin Judd, who was the original winemaker at the legendary Cloudy Bay, Greywacke is all about capturing the essence of New Zealand’s unique landscapes in every bottle. The winery’s name comes from the greywacke rock that’s common in the region’s soil, which gives their wines a special note.
Sustainability and keeping things green are a top priority at Greywacke: from reducing chemical use in the vineyards to promoting biodiversity and saving energy, they’re keen to support the environment they work in, which also benefits the taste of their wines. Kevin’s approach is to production is hands-off, to let the natural character of the grapes shine through without too much interference. His experience and creative flair – not just in winemaking but also in his celebrated and distinctive photography – have put Greywacke on the global wine map.
Greywacke’s wines truly reflect Marlborough’s stunning terroir, and they’re world-renowned for their complexity and balance. Their distinct flavours are loved by seasoned wine drinkers and complete novices alike.

Greywacke is best known for its stellar Sauvignon Blanc – packed with tropical fruit flavours and a fresh, zesty finish. We offer a magnum of that for those special occasions, as well as the standard bottle size.
The luscious Pinot Noir couldn’t be more densely packed with fruity flavours – imagine a black forest gateau in a glass, and you’ll get the idea.
