Rich and elegant 2024 Malbec from Catena Family Wines in Mendoza with dark fruit and floral aromas.

About This Wine

The Wine

The Catena family has been producing wine for over 100 years and played a key role in developing high-altitude viticulture in Mendoza, Argentina. The Vista Flores vineyard sits at 1100 metres altitude and has alluvial, loamy soil with rounded rocks. This Malbec undergoes a cold maceration and ages for 11-13 months in French oak barrels, 35% of which are new. The resulting wine emphasises rich, concentrated fruit along with floral and mineral notes. The wine reflects the unique terroir and history of this region, prized for structured tannins and intense colour.
