Growing up in Marlborough, David Clouston spent his youth in the Wairau and Awatere river valleys, where his family have farmed for five generations.
Energetic and talented, his experience – hard-earned over 25 vintages worldwide – is the driving force behind Two Rivers.
After immersing himself in the sights, flavours and aromas of countries sush as the USA, Chile, Spain, France and Corsica, Dave’s desire to create inspiring wine on the home turf was realised and Two Rivers wines were born.
This beautiful Blancs de Noirs is made in the Traditional ‘Champagne’ Method and is 100% Pinot Noir.
Carefully hand picked grapes from David’s Brookby Hill Vineyard are gently pressed, then fermented in concrete eggs, and aged on full yeast lees for 24 months.
Its a beautiful and refined Blanc de Noir with a pale rose gold hue. Featuring delicate aromas, of wild berries, rosehip, marzipan and floral notes.
Smooth on the palate, with a fine structure and texture, and a great length on its dry finish.
The perfect accompaniment to any celebration.
