Description
A sophisticated, charming wine from the Dubard family in Puisseguin Saint-Émilion to the East of Bordeaux. With 8 hectares of vines on limestone clay soils, this wine oozes terroir.
With 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc the nose is deep and inviting. Sophisticated aromas of blackberries and fig and an underlying minerality on the nose. The palate is full and intense with plum, blueberry, liquorice and toasty oak from ageing in barrel. The tannins are restrained, the structure firm. Château Dubard Bel-Air is a gem.
