About This Wine

The Wine

Handpicked Wines’ 2018 Collection Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon was made from fruit sourced from multiple Margaret River growers, including old Juniper Estate Cabernet with Wilyabrup pedigree. The bunches were destemmed and fermented in open fermenters with plunging and pump overs.

Terroir

Margaret River’s warm, dry growing season is moderated by cooling ocean breezes. Fruit for this wine includes Wilyabrup and Wallcliffe sites, supporting slow ripening, depth of flavour and lively acidity.
