Kaikenes are wild geese, native to Patagonia, that fly across the Andes between Chile and Argentina. In the same way, legendary Chilean winemaker Aurelio Montes crossed the Andes to make wines in Mendoza. Aurelio saw the enormous potential of the region for premium viticulture and, after several exploratory trips, founded the Kaiken winery in 2002. His aim was simple: to make great wines in Mendoza and, in doing so, to show the best of both sides of the Andes.
Grapes for this wine are sourced from 3 high altitude vineyards (up to 1, 400m), with each vineyard bringing its own distinct qualities and characteristics to the blend.
A wonderful display of rich aromas on the nose with floral and spicy notes. The palate is structured with soft tannins that lead to a finish that is fresh, complex and long, with notes of blueberry and blackberry.

The Real Cure Wild Dorset Venison Chorizo
110g whole chorizo (Gluten Free)
Made using sweet, smoked paprika (Pimenton de la Vera) and a mix of herbs and spices, including oregano that comes though beautifully on the palate.
The chorizos are smoked for 3 days over oak to add an extra layer of smokiness to the already smoked paprika.
