About This Wine

The Wine

Maximum Blanc de Blancs is made exclusively from carefully selected Chardonnay grapes grown in mountain vineyards on the slopes of the Dolomites, between 300 and 750 meters altitude. The wine undergoes extended lees ageing of at least 24 months, adding complexity and texture. It reflects Ferrari's focus on creating gastronomic sparkling wines with vibrant acidity and a persistent, velvety mouthfeel. The wine is a product of sustainable practices involving 600 local growers, managed under Ferrari's agronomy team to ensure quality and environmental care.

Ferrari

The legend of Ferrari Trento began in 1902 with a man, Giulio Ferrari, and his dream of creating a wine in Trentino capable of competing with the best French Champagnes. He was a pioneer; the first to realize the extraordinary vocation of his territory, and the first to make substantial plantings of Chardonnay in Italy.

After more than a century of history, the dream of Giulio Ferrari and Bruno Lunelli continues with the third generation of the Lunelli family and a close-knit team that share the same values and passions. A family affair with a long history, looking at the future with great ambition.

Terroir

Grapes come from the high-altitude vineyards in the Dolomites near Trento, where glacial soils and significant diurnal temperature swings develop aromatic complexity and high acidity. The sites have south-eastern and south-western exposures and are farmed sustainably by local growers adhering to Ferrari's protocols.
