Description
Since 1984, Markus Molitor has pursued a clear vision: to bring the great potential of the Mosel back to life – with distinctive wines that precisely reflect the interplay of vintage, ripeness, and origin. Meticulous manual work, selective harvesting, respect for grape and terroir, and the renunciation of standardizing aids define his winery’s philosophy.
Concentrated and lemon-fresh: A clear, pure, concentrated yet still reductive nose reveals citrus and saline notes of crushed rocks. Round, and elegant on the palate, this is savory, almost seamless, very well balanced and thus nearly weightless yet intensely fruity Bockstein Auslese with electric but finely grained acidity and an enormously savory finish.
