The wine is pale yellow with light green reflections. To the nose it presents an aromatic palate beginning with a distinctive note of pear which evolves into banana and exotic fruits. Then a final bouquet of white flowers mainly jasmine and lily emerges. In the mouth an initial taste of almond gives way to the floral nature of this wine. The aroma of white flowers settles around the palate leaving a feeling of freshness and a taste of lime with notes of wild flowers.

Founded in 1647, Chivite is one of Spain’s oldest and most respected winemaking dynasties. Enjoying almost cult-like status, this perfectly-crafted, food friendly rose enjoys a fruit-driven nose – strawberry, pomegranate, raspberry, and blackberry with rose petals at the end. The palate is crisp and dry with a balanced, textured mouth feel. Long persistence on the finish with notes of cherry on the finish. Delicious!

Family owned and operated since 1914, and the first winery in Patagonia to be certified as sustainable, Humberto Canale still operate today with the same values as when Guillermo Barzi’s uncle planted the first vines, providing support, work and housing for local residents.
The cooler climate of Patagonia allows fruit to ripen slowly and retain an acidity not often found in new world Malbec and one that yields wines of superb complexity and elegance. This ‘old vine’ vineyard, Finca Los Borregos, was planted in the 1960’s and brings a fantastic depth and concentration to the wine.
With a bouquet of ripe plums, herbs and lovely toasty spice aromas from the French and American oak barrels and vanilla coming through on the finish.
