Famille Perrin

Famille Perrin has been making exceptional wines in the Rhône Valley for generations, with a rich history that dates back to 1909. They are especially known for their stewardship of the legendary Château de Beaucastel, but they also produce a wide range of wines from various Rhône appellations, in red, white and rosé too.

Famille Perrin were farming organically long before its recent resurgence. They’ve always believed that great wine starts in the vineyard, so they follow nature’s rhythms and use organic and biodynamic methods to bring out the true character of their terroirs.

Château de Beaucastel, their flagship estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, is famous for using all 13 permitted grape varieties in the region, creating wines that are complex, elegant, and built to age. Their reds often feature Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah, and these produce wines with bold fruit, spice, and earthy tones. Their whites are vibrant, aromatic, and perfect for pairing with food.

If you’re a fan of Rhône wines or just discovering them, we think that Famille Perrin is a name to trust. Their wines truly reflect the region’s diversity, with the Perrin family’s passion and expertise behind every bottle.

From the Handpicked Wine Box Cellars:

The Coudoulet de Beaucastel is a blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Cinsault grapes. It’s a deep ruby red, and rich with full flavours.

The Luberon Blanc is a blend of Bourboulenc, Grenache Blanc, Ugni Blanc, and Roussanne – it’s bright, zesty and with a slight bitterness to balance the sweet peach flavours.

The Luberon Rosé is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache Blanc, and Syrah, and is fresh and fruity.
