Trinity Hill is a standout winery from New Zealand’s Hawke’s Bay region. It was founded in 1993 by a trio of wine enthusiasts (hence the “Trinity” in the name), and Chief Winemaker Warren Gibson has led the winemaking and vineyard teams since 1997. He’s one of the most experienced and successful winemakers in the region.
Trinity Hill craft high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of Hawke’s Bay. This region is known for its warm climate and diverse soils, perfect for growing a variety of grapes, and they produce a wide range of wines – but their Syrah and Chardonnay are real standouts, and have often been recognised with awards and accolades down the years.
They’re big on sustainability and put a lot of effort into environmentally-friendly practices, ensuring their vineyards are healthy and thriving for generations to come. Their approach to winemaking is a mix of tradition and innovation, which really shows in the bottle. Elegance, balance, and precise flavours: Trinity Hill wines are a joy to drink on any occasion.
Experienced, sustainable winemaking with a Kiwi twist: Trinity Hill combine a deep respect for their land with a passion for creating delicious wines. Whether you’re cracking open a bottle of their rich Syrah or a crisp Chardonnay, you’re in for a treat.
From the Handpicked Wine Box Cellars:
Trinity Hill’s Syrah is often compared to the best offerings from the Rhône Valley in France, and is known for its elegance and complexity. Their Gimblett Gravels range, named after the stony soil in the region, is especially noteworthy and gets rave reviews. They also produce exceptional Chardonnays and Bordeaux-style blends.
