There’s something truly magical about Christmas Eve, that sense of calm before the celebration, when the lights are twinkling, the table’s set, and you can finally relax with a glass of something special. I wanted this hamper to capture that feeling.
The Stars Touch of Rosé is one of my favourite sparkling wines for this time of year, elegant yet cheerful, it feels like bottled joy. The Pouilly Fumé is classic and sophisticated, with that beautiful minerality the Loire does so well. And the Monte Antico adds depth and warmth, the kind of red that makes every sip feel indulgent.
The food pairings were chosen to complement these wines perfectly. I love the balance of savoury snacks and sweet treats, olives and habas to nibble with your fizz, gingerbread and hot chocolate for after dinner. It’s the sort of hamper you open early and keep dipping into all evening.
