Description
Given the tiny harvests and soaring prices Chablis has experienced over recent years, we are especially pleased to be working with Bernard Michaut based in Biene and were blown away with the quality of his Chablis at tasting. His 60 hectares of vineyards are grown on the celebrated soil of the region, Kimmeridgien clay, and are in part responsible for the classical flinty and steely characteristics of this wine. Wonderful acidity on the palate is softened with 10% of the wine having been aged in old oak barrels for 6 months. A delightful classic and classy Chablis.
