Description

The Montagny appellation includes vineyards in the Côte Chalonnaise villages of Montagny, Buxy, Saint Vallerin and Jully les-Buxy. The appellation is only for Chardonnay wines and includes village and premier cru designated sites. Montagny Premier Cru La Grande Roche benefits from its location quite high on a sunny hillside on a limestone bedrock.

This wine has an intense nose and offers yellow peach, fresh hazelnut and almond paste aromas. The ample mouth is fresh with a nice minerality on the finish.
