Description
With a family history of making alcoholic drinks in South Australia that dates back to 1886, the Pikes family who originally emigrated from Dorset are firmly established in the Clare Valley.
At an altitude of 450 meters above sea level, their wines retain a beautiful freshness and acidity. 15% Tempranillo has been blended with this aptly named Shiraz, Los Compañeros meaning ‘The Companions’ in Spanish, creating a wine that really is greater than the sum of its parts. Perfect blending companions, the Tempranillo ‘provides aromatic lift and a rustic textural element to the soft richness of the Shiraz’.
