Description
Fixin (pronounced ‘Fissin’) is situated in the Côte de Nuits region between Dijon and Gevrey-Chambertin. The appellation received official recognition in 1936 and produces both appellations Village and Premier Cru. This wine has much in common with top quality Gevrey Chambertin at an affordable price.
Brilliant deep purple in colour. This wine reveals aromas of black cherry with notes of liquorice. The palate is rich with fine and silky tannins. It is fresh and persistent on the finish.
