French Vermentino is a white wine grape variety grown primarily in the island region of Corsica and the southern mainland region of Provence. Vermentino wines are typically medium-bodied, with bright acidity and notes of citrus, green apple, and pear, often with a characteristic hint of salinity or minerality.
