I chose these wines because they feel just right for spring. You want freshness and energy at this time of year, but you still want bottles with real character, and this case gives you both.
The Sauvignon Blanc is bright and citrusy, the Grillo brings a lovely soft, saline edge, and the rosé is delicate, pale and incredibly easy to enjoy. Then the reds give you a bit of range depending on mood and food, from the lighter Pinot Noir through to the richer Crianza and the easy charm of the Tuscan red.
What I love most about this case is how useful it is. There is something here for a sunny afternoon, a casual supper or a bottle to open with friends. It is the kind of selection that quietly over-delivers.
