Description
In 1973 self taught winemakers Charles and Marie Thérèse Verhaeghe bottled their first wines at Chateau de Cedre. Now in the capable hands of the couples sons, Pascal and Jean-Marc, Chateau de Cedre has risen to be one of the jewels in the Cahors crown.
Camille is unoaked and therefore free to express the character of the terroir of Cahors and the Lot valley. Intensely fruity on the nose with blackcurrant and plums on the palate. It’s an elegant and balanced Malbec with a long finish.
