Description
Founded in 1973, siblings Christophe and Isabelle Sabon farm 100 hectares of Côtes du Rhône and Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards. Managed traditionally, vines are planted on a mix of galet stones, sand and clay and produce exceptional fruit.
Vines are farmed without pesticides, insecticides or herbicides. The land is fertilised with manure of natural origin and is not weeded, thus maintaining the aeration of the soil and avoiding compacting. The vines are harvested manually to maintain the integrity of the grapes and each plot is vinified separately. The wine is left to age on the lees for 6 months to enhance the structure, mouthfeel and complexity of the wine.
This is a well-integrated blend of white varieties that together form a harmonious, fresh and fruity wine with peachy, apricot aromas on the nose and warm brioche, and vanilla on the palate.
