Benefitting from the freedom this brings, Yves vines receive the “haute couture” treatment; respectful manual treatment with the fewest treatments possible.
In this steep-sided part of the Rhône Valley, vineyards are often terraced and cannot be mechanised, so all vineyard management tasks are carried out by hand.
This single vineyard Viognier has been given its name “Vignes d’à côté” being made mainly from vines next to the appellation area.
With generous aromas of apricots, ripe yellow fruits and underlying hints of violets, the palate is juicy and fresh with good acidity and a lengthy, rounded finish.
