French Cinsault

French Cinsault is a red wine grape variety traditionally grown in the southern regions of France, especially in the Languedoc-Roussillon and Rhône Valley. Known for its resistance to heat and drought, Cinsault is often used in blends, including Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône. On its own, Cinsault produces wines that are light in colour and body, with a silky texture and flavours of ripe red berries, often with notes of spice or flowers. These wines are usually low in tannins and high in acidity. If you enjoy red wines that are light, fruity, and vibrant, wines made from or featuring French Cinsault could be a great choice for you.
