With historical links to the Italian Royal Family, the Fontanafredda estate dates back to the 1850’s. A true love story, the estate was purchased by Vittorio Emanuele II as a gift for the woman he loved, ‘La Bella Rosina.’
Today the winery combines these historical roots with best modern-day practises and facilities. Arneis, meaning ‘rascal’ in Italian, has seen a recent and much deserved surge in popularity. This beautiful and approachable example from the Langhe exudes ripe pears, blossom and honey on the nose, whilst the palate. Soft, sweet and mouth-filling on the palate, with a crispy fresh finish.
