Picpoul production is dominated by co-operatives however this small scale, family winery in Montagnac is owned by brothers Yves and Hugues Ricome. After working several harvests in New Zealand, Yves daughter Anaïs has now taken charge of the estate, making fantastically pure wines. The proximity of the estate to the sea means cool maritime breezes moderate the often XX climate, making it ideal for growing this variety and retaining a wonderful acidity. The Domaine has been practising organic and biodynamic since 2016. Vibrant citrus aromas of lime and grapefruit on the nose whilst the palate is full yet extremely well balanced, with pure fruit flavours; stonefruit and citrus.
