Description
12 generations of the Trimbach family have made wine in Alsace since at least 1626. Today, and with Pierre Trimbach in charge, their name is synonymous with quality. The family vineyards are situated around Ribeauville and benefit from the unique Alsatian microclimate thanks to protection from the Vosges Mountains which shelter the plain from the rain.
This reserve wine is made from select parcels of old vines which produce a richer, more complex wine. Fragrant and intense on the nose with aromas of ripe apples and pears, notes lime and underlined by hints of smokiness. The palate is concentrated with a fantastic acidity and minerality. A wonderful purity of fruit with some floral flavours and an extensive length.
