Founded by Laurent Ternynck, Domaine de Mauperthuis lies just outside Chablis, where limestone soils and a cool Burgundian climate shape wines of clarity and precision. The estate has been certified organic since 2022, with minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar. Working with amphorae, old barrels, and native yeasts, Ternynck produces wines that bridge tradition and experiment — crystalline expressions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with a natural edge.
A raw, soulful Pinot: wild strawberry, cranberry, and dried herbs layered with subtle umami and smoky clay notes. Long skin contact brings depth, but the core remains bright and lifted.
