Description
Snapper Rock is the brainchild of talented young winemaker David Clouston. Spending endless summer days on the blue waters off New Zealand’s coast, this wine is named after his favourite fishing spot ‘Snapper Rocks’ where he spends hours trying to catch the elusive snapper.
This is a vibrant, refreshing rose, hand harvested in the early morning from a single vineyard on the banks of the Awatere River in the stunning Waihopai Valley, Marlborough.
This early harvests ensures grapes arrive at the winery in best condition and good acidity is maintained.
With ripe tropical fruit and strawberry aromas on the nose, this easy drinking rose is made from an unusual blend of Sauvignon Blanc with a dash of Pinot Noir. The palate is crammed with raspberry, cranberry and mulberry fruit characters with a vibrant acidity.
